E-mail stress slowing down workers, say researchers

The sheer volume of e-mail that comes in during the day, combined with the pressure to answer quickly, is stressing out employees. Researchers from Glasgow and Paisley Universities say that some employees check their e-mail up to 30 or 40 times an hour, despite reporting that they check it far less often.
