CREDANT Technologies, today announced it has been awarded FIPS 140-2 validation for the CREDANT Cryptographic Kernel for its Palm OS platforms under the joint U.S. National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and Canadian Communications Security Establishment (CSE) Cryptographic Module Validation Program.
