Click, download - and pay N.J. 6% ; Senate budget panel would tax 'digital goods'

American Marketing Association News: "New Jersey residents moved a point and click closer to paying a new sales tax when they download music, software, books or just about anything else from the Internet.
A Senate panel agreed Monday to spread the sales tax to 'digital goods' as well as hundreds of other new items and services in an effort to collect $175 million more in taxes each year, a key component in this year's $27.4 billion budget. "
